Um, yes...hi...ooh...let's see...an order of Simon's Special Fried Rice, Hot Wok Chicken, and some career advice.

So last night we opted for Chinese food for dinner. Kendall has no interest in fortune cookies which is great considering that they make both a delightful after-dinner sweet or substitute breakfast cereal. They put four cookies in the bag...all for me, essentially. Here's the kicker - it's funny to think that the Chinese fortune cookie gods actually read my blog! Or at least yesterday's post. What's a career seeking blogger to say but, "Thanks you guys!"

I wonder if I should make this my cover letter...???? Hmmmm?

I also received the kindest invitation from a fellow blogger to help me "beef" up my resume. I'm leaving her identity anonymous out of courtesy and respect. But let me just say, Kids...after seeing what she's done already with my resume this morning...I just might hire me! It's magic...and "she's" my Fairy Godmother! And I sincerely thank her from the bottom of my heart! Which got a little bit bigger after her offer yesterday.

  3. First off, I am thrilled to hear that your resume now is on par with your name. Blogger friends ARE some kind and caring folk, aren't they?!

Onto my second (and creepier) thought. Do you know that not 15 minutes ago I took a photo of two fortune-cookie fortunes from Friday night for MY blog? Great minds, Beef! :)

  6. In all honesty, I think you should do something with these fortunes. That is either a stroke of luck or a message from the career gods, Beef!

And congrats on the help with the rezzie...once you get your foot in the door, I have a feeling you'll nail anything.

Oof! That sounds questionable, dun it?!

  8. Um, you know you are supposed to add the words IN BED to the end of every fortune, right?
    That's how I play anyway.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I always appreciate your thoughts. Your comment will appear as soon as I can publish it.

p.s. - Contrary opinions or constructive criticism are also fine but "The Bedlam" doesn't serve as a platform for random (or anonymous) acts of offensiveness. Rude? Deleted.
