Driven to Distraction

Ha! I found myself laughing out loud despite the seriousness of the woman on the video. I need to do this! Mainly, I would need to trap my laptop and phone and certain magazines. Good to know I'm not alone in the eternal struggle to stay focused!

I love this video - and so badly wish I could take a break from all the distractions. However, I think it may be easier said than done!
Much love,

I've thought of trying to set up my home Internet service so it only activates for 3 hours from noon to 3, forcing me to get my brain into less reactive pursuits first.

I feel like I'm always juggling my projects. Some days I keep them in balance, other days it seems like I have too many in the air. All I know for sure is that I don't get enough quiet do-nothing time.

Thanks for all the comments, Kids! Looks like we're all floating in relatively the same boat. Le sigh. One day at a time, I guess, huh?

Thanks again for taking the time to leave a comment! :)

this is exactly why I don't have cable. How do people do it? all those choices! also I live in the rural parts on purpose (no cell service!) I can't imagine living in a city with all those wonderful store fronts and restaurant menus to read! How do people's brain's not explode? I think as artist types were especially sensitive, ya think?

The world is especially challenging right now for those of us who are easily distracted. My middle name is "oooohhh something shiny". It's the worst when you let people down because of it. I keep thinking I need life to be more simple, and that would help me, but I'm not sure how to make that happen. Because I'm too distracted to make a plan!
