Lucky Uncle

Uncle Beefy

Yes, kids, that means you! Thanks so much to all of you who took the time to read through, comment on, and email me about, my last post! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the time you all took to go through it - 'cause lord knows your uncle can get wordy - and then write down your thoughts! (If y'all were lookin' for some extra karma points, I'm sure you racked up a few at the very least.)

While I'm recovering from a cold [insert sympathy "Awww!" and virtual chicken soup here], I have lots to think about and consider and I'm so grateful to have your feedback. A redesign? Seems probable. "Kids"? Sounds like that is here to stay! The 'scripty' font? I'm either going to find another place to utilize it or ditch it altogether, but no more posts to read in that one. Too much time to format, too hard to write anything substantial, and too hard to read for a lot of you. Done! More original content? I'm a plottin' and a plannin' for that one. Ads? If they're a good fit, then yes. A shop? I need to put all of my art-making and printmaking training to use somehow don't I? So, as you can see, a lot of things to mull, plan, design, launch... in due time.

Thanks again for all of your support and thoughtful observations, kids! Means a lot.

p.s. - Did you see? I'm in the latest issue of RUE!

  7. hendricks all the way! man after my own heart. i prefer mine with a cucumber spear. cheers.

ps i like the idea of your script font intermingled with regulation text. maybe the hyper links is script. the script is so you it would be a shame for it to disappear completely.

  9. Lucky uncle! I feel like a lucky niece (even though I'm pretty sure that we are the exact same age -- strange family, huh?). Nice to see you back.

  11. Also? I'm the idiot that posted my comment like 4x because clearly I am word verification challenged. It kept telling me that the words I entered didn't match, so I kept redoing it. ::blush::
