    Mon Oncle, all the BEST! Remember my theory that what you are entitled to is a birthdayFEST not just a day. And also, that the alternative to a red-letter birthday is just a bit more sticky.

    Here's to cake and alcohol! They always work for me!

    Yes! Cake and alcohol help ease the pain! I threw a "cupcakes & cocktials party" for mine and it helped immensely!

    I think you are far more successful than you probably realize, with the amount of lives you touch and the joy you bring!

    It seems to me that you might not be measuring success correctly.

    I think the trick to being 4-0 is to be sure you never feel 4-0. So when is the big day? I hope you are celebrating and enjoying every moment of it....cake and alcohol...rum cake might save time?!

    Ohhhhh, Bradford! My apologies 4-0. Yikes! Just kidding, sweety. It's only a number (and a state of mind). But be sure and have some good gin and make yourself a gin and tonic with a little extra twist. It always helps me!

    hellooo, i hear you! i had a midlife crisis when i turned 35, total meltdown with tears and looking around at all my married off girlfriends with little girls...not fun. i totally hear you. but really, seriously you kick ass and isn't 40 the new 30 anyway? i think so. so really, your only 29 and i'm a mere 25...what could be better than that? look at all we've accomplished in our young lives!
