I promise that this is as close to "preachy" as I'll get during this week's posting but there is a reason why "environmentalism" is more than just a marketing strategy. This is a brief story touching on the Great Pacific Garbage Patch...an area in the Pacific Ocean twice the size of Texas...made of plastic debris. It's not entirely pleasant but it is entirely important.
Reduce, reuse, recycle....really.
