Urban Craft Uprising

Since we're all forcibly made to accept the start of the Christmas/Holiday season somewhere around July 4th I'll let myself off the hook for posting something prior to Thanksgiving. That said, on December 1st & 2nd (Saturday & Sunday) from 11am to 5pm Urban Craft Uprising will be hosting their 3rd Annual show at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. This is an uber-popular event featuring over 100 purveyors of fine handmade goods. Since the list is all full up for this year's event (the waiting list too!) Uncle Beefy will not be on the scene but you can always check out favorites like Fernworks Fine Art, Ilee Papergoods, Satsuma Press, or Slow Shirts...among others.

Now here is a great way to spend a weekend and come up with some rather nifty-gifty choices for this holiday season. Besides, you'll be supporting local artists which may well put you on Santa's "nice" list this year...maybe even twice.
